ONGOING LEGAL SUPPORT
Ongoing legal support gives the team one working channel for agreements, corporate resolutions, claims, HR and registration matters. UBC specialists agree priorities, deadlines and responsible persons, review the existing documents and take recurring tasks under support.
Management can see work status, receive solution options in advance and plan legal costs without maintaining a separate in-house legal department.
Tasks and Scope of Legal Support
The format suits companies that need regular legal support but do not require a full-time in-house lawyer. This includes trading and service companies, IT teams, groups of companies, owners of commercial property, contractors and businesses with a high volume of agreements.
Before work begins, UBC specialists define typical requests, document volumes, response times and the employees who will interact with the lawyer. Tasks requiring court representation, a notary, registration, international analysis or another specialist provider are agreed separately.
The owner receives a clear boundary: what is included in the monthly scope, how an instruction is submitted and when a separate project fee applies.
Regular support may include:
- drafting and reviewing agreements;
- consultations for management and employees;
- corporate resolutions, powers of attorney and internal policies;
- claims, replies to counterparties and negotiations;
- review of authority and documents of new partners;
- legal support for HR matters;
- support with banking and registration requests;
- maintenance of a calendar of material legal actions.
The scope depends on the business. For an online shop, more attention may be paid to public offers, personal data and customer relations; for a contractor, to agreements, acceptance certificates, deadlines and collection of payment; for a group of companies, to corporate resolutions and intragroup documents.
Agreements, Disputes and Corporate Documents
After onboarding, a client contact and a responsible UBC coordinator are appointed. A request should state the business objective, documents, required deadline and the employee who will approve the result.
The lawyer clarifies the facts, determines the response format and identifies the materials required. A small issue may be resolved by a consultation or document amendment. For a major transaction, dispute or structural change, the scope and fee are agreed separately.
UBC specialists maintain a list of requests and deliver the result in a form convenient for implementation: a final agreement, amendment list, resolution, letter, opinion or written recommendation.
Before regular work begins, it is useful to review the principal documents. UBC specialists will usually examine registration documents, the charter, director's authority, standard agreements, powers of attorney, HR and customer forms, current claims and the document-retention process.
A priority list is prepared from the review. Some matters are corrected immediately, while others are included in a multi-month plan. This helps use the monthly legal-support time on tasks that genuinely affect agreements, settlements and management.
If the company already has an in-house lawyer, UBC can provide additional capacity for specific areas or periods of high workload.
Support can be organised as a fixed monthly scope, a package of hours or an agreed list of recurring services. The fee depends on the number of companies, agreements, employees, urgency and specialist areas required.
Before starting, UBC specialists carry out a short assessment and propose a suitable format. Court cases, complex registrations, site visits, notarial actions, high-volume document reviews and international projects are agreed separately.
The client receives transparent task records and can adjust the scope of support as the business changes.
Format, Fee and Interaction with the Lawyer
Regular support works best when management can see completed requests and the next legal tasks. At the start of the period, priorities can be agreed: agreements for new sales, corporate resolutions, claims work, updates to internal documents or preparation for a bank request.
At period end, the client receives a list of completed work, status of open matters and recommendations for the next period. For each task, the responsible employee, company documents and agreed deliverable are recorded. This report helps the owner assess workload and choose the next support package.
Urgent requests are separated from planned work. The support agreement can specify communication channels and initial response times for different categories. This does not mean every document is prepared immediately: the coordinator confirms receipt quickly, clarifies the data and gives a realistic completion time.
If the workload increases, the format can be changed without rebuilding the entire process. The company may increase the package, create a separate project or involve a specialist. Accumulated documents and the agreed workflow are preserved, so a new task starts with an already understood business context.
An external lawyer works more effectively when the company has an internal coordinator. That person provides source data, gathers management decisions and communicates project changes. At the same time, business heads can submit tasks directly within agreed categories - for example, sales agreements, employment documents or replies to counterparties.
UBC also works with the client's accountant, auditor, notary, bank and technical consultant. UBC specialists formulate the legal part of the task, reconcile documents and provide the owner with a prepared result. If a matter falls outside the agreed scope, the client receives an estimate of the additional work in advance.
If the responsible employee changes, correspondence, document versions, decisions and open matters remain in the project file. The new responsible person can understand the context quickly and the company continues without re-collecting materials already provided.
UBC specialists periodically review the support scope together with the client. Completed projects can be removed and new business areas added without rebuilding the entire relationship. The client pays for support that reflects the actual workload and near-term tasks.
Describe your recurring legal tasks, number of agreements and companies, team structure and expected response time. Provide several standard documents and a list of open matters. UBC specialists will propose the support scope, monthly limit, task-submission process and management reporting format.

Before filing the VAT return, the accountant reconciles the register with the accounting records and electronic data. Adjustments, returns, advance payments and transactions requiring an explanation are reviewed separately. Management receives a concise VAT summary and an action list for the next period. UBC can organise this cycle as an ongoing service and agree document exchange with your team.
