What information the certificate could contain
For a legal entity, the certificate stated the EDRPOU code, name, location, date and place of state registration, form of ownership, director, contact details and codes of economic activities. For an individual entrepreneur, the document could contain registration details, address, contacts and KVED codes. The exact set of particulars depended on the type of document and the rules of the relevant register.
What is needed for the search
The easiest way to identify a legal entity is by its eight-digit EDRPOU code. If the code is unknown, provide the full or possible name, legal form, address, director's surname and other information that will help distinguish the company from entities with similar names.
- clarify whether a document specifically from the statistics authority is required or whether an extract from the Unified State Register is sufficient;
- check which KVED codes the recipient needs to see and as of what date;
- find out whether an electronic form with a verification code is accepted;
- if necessary, agree a paper copy, translation or certification.
