If you are looking for work at UBC and already know how to handle clients or a separate professional area independently, send a CV with a specific description of your experience. Real matters that you brought to completion are more important to us than a general list of personal qualities. State which documents you prepared personally, which state registers and electronic accounts you worked with, which negotiations you conducted and which area you were responsible for without constant supervision by a manager. This immediately shows which part of client work you will be able to take on from the first month.
You should state your specialisation, the cities or industries you worked with, knowledge of English or other languages, and the preferred format of cooperation. For a lawyer, examples of corporate, contractual or permit matters are useful; for an accountant — industries, taxation systems, foreign economic activity and audit experience. If you worked with entrepreneurs, foreign participants, licensed activities or complex contracts, give two or three anonymised examples. It is enough for us to understand the initial situation, your role and the document received by the client.

When applying for a position involving independent project handling, show what you personally brought to completion: a registered company, an obtained licence, a closed reporting period, a prepared contract, a bank response or a completed transaction. It is useful to state the usual timeframe for such work and explain which decisions you made independently. If you can identify a missing document, a risk of refusal or a conflict in contract terms in advance, make sure to mention it — this qualification is especially useful when working with business clients.
If you work in a region of Ukraine, state whether you can travel and interact with notaries, registrars, courts and local authorities. For regional cooperation, the ability to complete a specific assignment independently and provide the client with a finished document or confirmation is especially valued.
You may propose permanent work, project cooperation or work as an independent specialist. State how much time you can realistically allocate, during which hours you are available to the client and whether you can take an urgent assignment. If you combine several projects, indicate workload limitations immediately. It is important for us to understand your real capacity and not promise a client a deadline that the specialist physically cannot meet.
If you specialise in international business, add your experience working with foreign founders, contracts, banks, transfers and corporate documents from other jurisdictions. You do not need to disclose confidential data of former clients — it is enough to describe the type of task and your role.
When sending your CV, state the desired position, employment level, city and a convenient means of communication. A specific message helps us understand more quickly whether your experience matches the company’s current tasks.
You should also name the professional programs and electronic services you use confidently: accounting systems, electronic reporting, registers, document management, legal databases or project-management tools. If you can issue a qualified electronic signature without training, submit reports, check data in a register, prepare an electronic package for a state authority or organise document exchange with a client, state this separately. Such skills reduce the time between receiving an assignment and producing the finished document.
If you want to cooperate as an external expert, state which services you can perform independently and the usual timeframe in which you provide completed documents. State a clear price or method of calculation, list third-party expenses and indicate whether an advance payment is required. For such cooperation, compliance with agreements, confidentiality and the ability to confirm completion of an assignment with a document, registration entry, submitted report, contract or another verifiable result are especially important.

If your experience matches a current vacancy or a specific client project, you will be contacted to discuss the role, scope of work and terms of cooperation.
